It was an early start for Amber and her eight (yes, eight) bridesmaids, with their hair and make up artist Kylie up at 5am. They got ready upstairs in the main house at Casa Bruciata, overlooking the Umbrian hills.
While the beautiful bridal party finished getting ready, Amber’s Cheadle Bride wedding dress was steamed and the tiny flower girls were causing mayhem. The bridesmaid dresses were being badly behaved, with Amber’s sister in law being sat on by another bridesmaid so that the stiff zip could be fastened up!
While all of this fabulous chaos was ensuing, the super talented Roberta was crafting a stunning floral arch for the wedding ceremony. Things were very calm with the groomsmen as they relaxed in one of the smaller buildings surrounding the main house, with their outfits from Slaters perfectly laid out on the beds.
Amber and Mikey’s little boy was chief ring bearer, carrying a ring security case containing the wedding rings down the aisle to Mikey as he waited nervously at the flower arch.
Mikey was fighting back the tears as as Amber made her grand entrance in the afternoon sunshine, preceded by her beautiful bridesmaids in navy blue Chi Chi London and her flowers girls wearing tiny white wedding style dresses.
Celebrate Charisma Italy delivered a beautiful, heartfelt service at Amber, Mikey and their guests. The view were absolutely spectacularly, with a backdrop of Umbrian countryside as Amber and Mikey made their vows.
After celebratory prosecco, I whisked the newlyweds off to explore the amazing grounds of Case Bruciata. Amber blew me away with her daredevil attitude, climbing up a massive hill in her ridiculously gorgeous (and pristine) wedding dress and Kurt Geiger heels!
The guests dined on masses of gorgeous Italian food while the sun set over the Italian countryside, before making their way to the dance floor for a game of Mr and Mrs. Amber definitely won, sorry Mikey!.
After their beautiful first dance, this gorgeous pair were up for a walk up the looooong driveway of the Case Bruciata as I had one more shot that I had in mind… I lost a battery on the way so ended up doing a sprint (ok, fast walk) back to the main house and back up the hill. But it was SO worth it!
