Hayley and Luke's wedding was set at the marmite flavoured Wellbeing Farm in Lancashire. Featuring flower eating Llamas, custom cocktails and farm chic at its absolute finest, what's not to love.
The wedding day kicked off at Hayley and Luke's lovely home, which showed off their unique style perfectly. There was a gorgeous air of calm peppered with mischief thanks to their tiny nephew, looking seriously dapper in his tiny suit from Marks and Spencer. The prosecco was flowing as the finishing touches were made to Hayley’s hair and make-up.
Hayley's lovely sister helped her into her dress, from Opulence Bridalwear, just in time for their dad to arrive and have a first look at his beautiful daughter on her wedding day. Not far behind him was the charming David from I Do Campers, with Sandy the VW campervan. David was an absolute gentleman all day and kept Hayley super calm and giggly on her way to the church.
Hayley and Luke were married at St Gregory’s Church in Chorley, with the fabulous and eccentric Father Graham. Hayley walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of Firestone, which was spine-chillingly beautiful.
After the service Hayley and Luke were transported to their truly unique wedding venue, The Wellbeing Farm. If you want WOW, this is the place for you. Celia, the Managing Director and Founder of the farm describes it as a marmite venue… you either fall in love with it or leave thinking that it is a bit too quirky.
Hayley and Luke embraced every quirky element of this wonderful venue, and were welcomed to their reception with a custom cocktail, yummy canapes and a roaring wood burner.
After lots of congratulations from their guests, Hayley and Luke were introduced to the farm’s resident animals… Llamas Vinnie and Ezra and donkeys Crackerjack and Gypsy. The llamas were fantastically cheeky, with Ezra munching half of Luke’s buttonhole and having a good attempt at Hayley’s bouquet.
Hayley and Luke then got a sneak peek at the barn which had been dressed to perfection. Bunting, hessian covers, jars filled with flowers (courtesy of Harlequins in Chorley), hand carved wooden centrepieces… the Wellbeing Farm had it all covered and woah did it look stunning.
After some seriously heartfelt speeches, the awesome Retrospect kicked off with hours of amazing live music for Hayley, Luke and their guests. They played until it was time for the first dance. Hayley and Luke had put together a custom edit of Kygo’s Firestone to complement the instrumental that Hayley walked down the aisle to. This gorgeous pair had even secretly put together a few dance steps to wow their guests just that little bit more. What. A. Day.
This wedding was all kinds of awesome and a bit more… Llamas, donkeys, cocktails and a tractor? I can’t wait to go back. I’ve heard a rumour that Celia has added a life-sized cow to her collection of fabulous props at The Wellbeing Farm…I'm not kidding.
