Sophie and Kyle’s super stylish wedding was planned in less than three months after a seriously romantic proposal over curry. Held at the ever fabulous On the 7th at Media City in Salford, their day was all kinds of gorgeous.
The bridal preparations kicked off at Sophie’s family home. The atmosphere was utterly relaxed as Sophie’s hair and makeup were perfected by the talented Nicky Selvidge with her gorgeous nails by Rachel at Rare Beauty.
Sophie’s sister helped her into her dress, and true to Sophie’s exceptional style it was breath-taking. It was a cream, crochet-style, ankle-length lace dress from ASOS bridal. The finishing touches were statement oriental style violet silk shoes which were just WOW.
Sophie and Kyle’s chose the exclusive private member’s club in the heart of Media City as they wanted to step away from a traditional church wedding and have a Manchester backdrop for their photographs.
The venue’s rustic house pantry was pure elegance as Sophie walked down the aisle to her excited groom. Kyle looked seriously cool in a navy Ted Baker suit with a slight check detail and matching waistcoat. He had a paisley patterned pocket square with a burgundy tie and a pocket watch. LOVE letters by Love Lights the Way complemented the gypsophila filled hurricane vases and pillar candles adorning the room. Sophie carried a vintage style, hand tied bouquet by Tallulah Blooms that looked as though it had been grabbed straight from a meadow.
After the service and lots of congratulations, Sophie and Kyle decided to brave the grey skies for some bubbly and photographs in Media City armed with their umbrellas. It wouldn’t be a Manchester wedding without rain, right?
After some gorgeous photographs and a walk through Media City, the fantastic David Lee got the party started. Sophie and Kyle’s first dance, in true Manchester style, was to Take Over the World by the Courteeners. The dancing continued into the night with plenty of Manchester music and awesome dance moves as the drinks flowed.
This city wedding was sharp, stylish and chic. On the 7th is an elegant and intimate venue, and the team there work tirelessly to make the day perfect.
